  1. Hi Guys,

It was great to meet you two fellas at the Cambridge computing centre. I’m glad you liked the Japanese biscuits! (mmmmmm) I thought the event was excellent, with a good small selection of cabs. My particular favorite at the show was Black Widow, which I have only ever played on MAME until now. Very frantic twin stick action!

Thanks Vic for the tips on Dig Dug. After watching you bash through a few levels, I’ve actually finally improved my own game after all these decades of randomly digging tunnels and getting flamed by fygars.

Congratulations Shaun on landing a dream job! Arcade employee of the biggest arcade in Europe! I need to get up to Bury again soon.

The podcast sounded excellent with that authentic arcade noise in the back ground. Hope you can do a few more live podcasts in the future.

I really couldn’t get into KLAX. My score was not too bad in the end but I can’t say I had tons of fun getting it. KLAX is definitely an awesome, unique, almost flawless puzzler… but “not for me!”

One game for a future ten pence challenge is “Chelnov – Atomic Runner”. Made by Sega, I think. Very fun running jumping shooting game that always pulls me back for one more go.

Toy Pop is terrible! (or am I just rubbish?)

Keep up the good work chaps!

  2. Great episode Tenpencers, background noise was a nice touch as was the impromptu interview. Perhaps an Arcadeclub on location interview feature now Shaun has landed his (and others) dream job ?

Highlights this episode were Shaun asking his current co-workers if they liked his apples and Vic talking about Chipshop Dave’s Lager can attack in SF5.

Looking forward to Shaun’s arcade diary and tales of workplace bollockings following IPA consumption on the job.

Toypop has been good but I’m slowly getting worse instead of popping those pigging DomDom’s right int face.
