Vectrex Asteroids Controllers

Available in black & white, colour or space duel colours. These controllers are buttons controllers. See HERE for what they can and can’t do with a Vectrex (they don’t work with every game like you might think)

Vectrex Digital Joystick Controllers

Available in 3 different styles – MB (Euro), GCE (US) and Bandai (Asia) An arcade style joystick with real Sanwa 24mm buttons and a slightly smaller 30mm balltop. MB and GCE features are black as standard : Bandai are green, but buttons and balltops can be chosen from this swatch –

Joysticks are adapted from the usual Vectrex analog to digital via a small resistor circuit inside the case.

A left handed version can also be made.

Vectrex Analog Controllers

Ideal for replacing an original Vectrex joystick – The Arcade (wide body) and mini analog.

Vectrex Spinners (Rotary Encoders)

Tempest style and mini style avaliable. These controllers are exclusively for port 2 on the Vectrex and can be used with the Binary Star Software ‘Spin Cart’ as well as some other spinner hacked games. Some arcade emulated games on the Vecfever cart also work with these controllers. The 2 buttons function as buttons 3 & 4 (port 2)

Atari Style Joystick Controllers

These can work on any ‘Atari’ style machine with a 9 pin D plug (Atari 2600 & computers,C64,Vic20 etc)
Button 2 is wired to joystick ‘UP’ for games that use up for jumping etc.
An Atari 7800 version can be made, which utilises both buttons for the console.

BBC B Joystick Controllers

Made to match the BBC B computer. These plug straight into the Beb’s 15 pin user port on the back of the computer and are adapted from analog to digital and have two seperate buttons for use with games that utilise this (new homebrew for instance – Retro Software’s Scramble is excellent!)
